WEAR IN THE WORLD?December 22nd, 2009A couple of intrepid TaylorMade adidas Golf employees from the USA and Canada, Josh Sullivan and Lindsay Knowlton are, right now, coming to the end of a 30-day golf odyssey which has taken in four continents, putting the latest adidas Golf apparel and footwear to the test in the most extreme conditions.
The itinerary has included the world’s highest and lowest courses, the hottest, the world’s southern-most course and, in South Africa, Africa’s southernmost 18-hole course in Hermanus Golf Club.
The daring duo arrived in South Africa on 5 December, taking in a trip to Robben Island and then up Table Mountain, before going shark-cage diving in Gaansbaai. From there it was off to Arabella to relax and play the Western Cape’s top ranked course – which they raved about.
From there it was on to Hermanus for the southern-most 18 holes in Africa and then a scary (they’re used to driving on the right-hand side back home) road trip to Fancourt and a round at the notorious Links at Fancourt.
