TaylorMade Burner SuperFast… “Distance comes from Speed”February 25th, 2010
The TaylorMade Burner 07 driver put the company on the map in the metal wood category which was followed by the longer, lighter Burner 09 driver which TaylorMade staff player Justin Rose hit ‘off-the-shelf’ in a practice round at Pearl Valley before the 2008 SA Open and had much praise to say for the club.
I guess TaylorMade Golf has stuck to their guns once again by bringing new formulas, new technologies into our equipment which can be seen in the Burner SuperFast range.
Lighter shaft weighing in at 48grams, longer shaft at a length of 46,5” with a Super-light 30gram Winn grip making the total weight of the club at a mere 285grams.
The aerodynamic 460cc head reduces drag and promotes a faster ball speed off the clubface, along with Ultra-thin Wall Technology in the clubface saving weight to contribute to a lighter overall club weight.
The TaylorMade SuperFast driver is fitted with the Matrix Ozik X-Con 4.8 shaft, light in weight with a soft tip promotes faster swing speed, high launch-angle and high spin for longer carry.
Also to hit stores nationally will be the Burner SuperFast Fairway and Rescue.
Burner SuperFast Fairway comes with an improved SuperFast Technology Package to promote more swing speed, more ball speed and more distance, a Matrix Ozik X-Con 4.8 shaft and a bigger, more expansive clubface which is easier to hit.
The Burner SuperFast Rescue includes the SuperFast Technology Package and 30gram Winn grip, comes fitted with a RE*AX 60 SuperFast shaft and triangular high-MOI club head which is exceptionally forgiving and easy to hit.
So as you can see the new TaylorMade SuperFast range of equipment is explained in its name- FAST! Increased club head speed plus increased ball speed equals increased distance.
Go Long… Go TaylorMade…
