Nicole Castrale and Loren Roberts Prevail With Weekend Wins
June 4, 2007 - TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff professional Nicole Castrale's first career LPGA victory came with a dramatic, come-from-behind effort to defeat the world's No.1 player in a playoff at the Ginn Tribute in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina over the weekend.
Trailing by two shots with two holes to play, Castrale birdied the 17th and 18th holes to force the playoff. On the first extra hole, Castrale made par to secure the win.
Castrale became the third TaylorMade-adidas Tour Staff professional to win on Tour this season playing the new r7? SuperQuad? driver. Fred Funk used the r7 SuperQuad to win at the Mayakoba Golf Classic and Paula Creamer played the driver to win at the SBS Open.
With the win, Castrale qualified for the 2007 LPGA playoffs and now ranks third in the ADT points standings with 62,587.

On the Champions Tour, TaylorMade Tour Staff professional Loren Roberts closed with a final round 6-under 65 to win The Boeing Championship, in Destin, Florida, by three strokes. The win was Roberts' sixth on the Champions Tour and his first in 2007.
Roberts, who began the day tied for fourth, three stokes behind the leader, birdied No. 12 and never looked back winning by three strokes.
Roberts now ranks third overall in Charles Schwab Cup points with 922.
