Brandt Snedeker Scores Big With Wyndham Championship Win

At the start of the Wyndham Championship, TaylorMade Staffer Brandt Snedeker hadn't yet won on the PGA Tour and was the highest-ranked player in the field in the FedEx Cup standings. A 70 - 67 - 66 and a final-round 63 at Forest Oaks Country Club would change all that.

Firing six birdies Sunday on the front nine, followed by four more on the back nine, Snedeker posted a 22-under 266 to win by two and capture his 1st title on the PGA Tour. In the final event of the season where players can earn points towards eligibility in the FedEx Cup playoffs, Snedeker's win also launched him 17 spots from 26th to 9th in the standings and secured a top-10 spot.

Playing an r7 425 TP driver, Snedeker was T6 in Driving Accuracy and was T8 in Birdies with 24. The win marks his 6th top-10 finish of the season and makes him a top contender for PGA Tour rookie of the year.
