Mike Weir Wins Frys Electronics Open

Still riding the emotional wave after beating the No. 1 ranked player in the world at The Presidents Cup, Mike Weir defies strong winds in Scottsdale to go 14-under and take the Frys Electronics Open title. Weir made five birdies in the final round, going 2-under on the back nine to turn in a 68 and capture his first win of the season and 8th PGA win of his career.

Weir finished T2 in Birdies with 22, T2 in GIR, T19 in Driving Accuracy and 17th in Driving Distance averaging 303.9 yards off the tee.
