Isao Aoki Shoots Age To Win 5th Japan Senior Open

Starting his final round six shots behind, Isao Aoki fired a 7-under 65 for a 12-under 276 total on the par-72 Kumamoto Chuo Country Club course. The remarkable 65 was not only Aoki's age, but also good enough to capture a one-stroke victory and his first Japan Senior Open since 1997.

Aoki, one of Japan's most successful golfers, became the first Japanese winner on the U.S. PGA Tour in 1983 taking the Hawaiian Open, and now has a career total of 77 wins in Japan and overseas.
