Natalie Gulbis Earns 1st LPGA Win In Playoff At Evian Masters

A birdie on the par-5 18th , the first in a sudden-death playoff at the Evian Masters, earned TaylorMade Tour Staff professional Natalie Gulbis her first career LPGA title.

Beginning the last day four shots behind the lead, Gulbis got off to a great start in her final round, posting birdies on the 1st, 6thand 9th holes to catapult into a share of the lead with a 33 on the front-nine. She would go on to finish the back nine with a 37 for a final round 70 and head into a playoff.

Going back on the par-5 18th, Natalie hit a remarkable tee shot with her Burner driver, then used her Rescue Dual to reach the green in two and make birdie to capture her first victory in her six years on the LPGA Tour. With the win, she is automatically entered into the LPGA playoffs for 2007.
