DUSTIN JOHNSON WINS SAUDI INTERNATIONAL ARMED WITH NEW SIM2 FAIRWAY

TEAM TAYLORMADE’S DUSTIN JOHNSON CAPTURED HIS SECOND SAUDI INTERNATIONAL IN 3 YEARS

CARLSBAD, Calif. (February 7, 2021) – World #1 Dustin Johnson won the inaugural staging of this event in 2019 before finishing second a year ago, and a calm final round of 68 saw him take a two shot victory to win his second Saudi International title in three years.

In only his second start of 2021, Dustin continued his stellar performance that saw him win the 2020 FedEx Cup and Masters and has solidified his position atop the world rankings. This week, he added the new SIM2 Ti fairway wood to his bag, alongside his SIM driver and SIM Max 7 wood.

• This is his 9th European Tour victory

• DJ has now won four times in his last 10 starts

• In the last three years, DJ has shot a combined total of 44 under-par at the Saudi International including two victories (2019 & 2021) and one solo second place finish (2020)

• DJ added TaylorMade’s new SIM2 Ti 15.0 fairway equipped with a Fujikura Ventus 80 X shaft alongside his SIM 10.5 driver and SIM Max 21.0 fairway

• Johnson has found much success with the Spider Tour over the last few years using it to escalate him to #1 in the world. This week, he used it to card a total of 18 birdies
